Appearance This beer was a light orange in color and looked a bit wimpy. It did have a big, lingering white head though that made up for things.
Smell The sharp citrus hops had a surprisingly big malt compliment. The malts actually were huge at the nose and were somewhat biscuity.
Taste The biscuit actually came across OK at the taste, but the hops were lacking for a self-proclaimed hoppy frog and this flavor profile is muddled with grain of all things.
Mouthfeel This IPA fell short of medium-bodied and really disappointed in the mouth, especially at the balance. It was clumsy and combative and had my taste buds reeling.
Drinkability I managed to get this down so didnt have to send it back, but it really was a disappointment coming from such a fine brewery. It has a bit of untapped potential but was so rough that it needs a lot of work.
