Copenhagen 16/11 2018. 65 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen Kbh Ø. Santa taking a break arrogantly balancing his legs on a Beer Barrel. With a mug of beer, of course.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue and medium-sized off-white head. Settles as patchy and thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and boozy. Dark sweet, fermented fruit. Dades, plum and black currant drenched in alcohol. Light tart notes of berries and hints of coffee. Overall a pretty sugary odor.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly sticky texture.
Flavor is Pretty sweet followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet, sugary and quite alcoholic. Something burnt lingering in the background. Sourish tang. Lingers for a bit.
A bit too sweet for my taste buds. But true Winter Warmer.

Served in a snifter glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Super dark amber color coming off semi opaque. Tinted red tan head which is on the a smeared white color if you ask me.
Smell:
Taste: Tarty feel. Strong yeast feel with dark berries and light spiciness to the brew. It's sweet and comes off almost dessert like but has that Malbec feel of a wine.
Mouth: Soft carbonation. Very sticky sweet finish.
Overall: Great gift from a former boss

Pours reddish brown. Foamy, short tan head that fades into a lasting ring.
Smells raspberry, cherry and yeasty spice.
Tastes light tart cherry, raspberry and Belgian sugar. Followed by medicinal cherry and yeast spice. Finish is dry with a fruit and yeast linger. Medium body and creamy medium carbonation.

Picked up a bomber from TW Arrowhead 11-4-17 for $6.99. Bottled on 9-5-17 (i think - very tiny font).
Beer poured brown with a nice off white head.
Nose is sweet fruit forward with some hints of nuts.
Taste is sweet with Belgian candied sugars and raspberries, with a touch of sour from the cherries finishing with an odd touch of bitter nutmeg.
Mouthfeel is light and smooth, very nice.
Overall not a bad beer but too sweet for my palate.

Deep ruby red in color with very good clarity. Pouted with a short, creamy, light tan foam with medium low retention. Sweet dark cherry, raspberry, dark malt and bready malt aromas with light spicy notes. Full bodied with a rich, creamy smooth feel through the middle. Medium light carbonation and prickly warmth from the middle to the end. Dark cherry and raspberry fruit flavors with dark malt and yeasty flavors in tow. Medium light tartness through the middle followed by tart raspberry, prickly booziness, and hints of spice to the end. Finished with bready and yeasty notes along with a dry tartness and fruity notes. Overall, simple, sweet, sticky and tasty with pleasant tartness to balance the sweet malts and Belgian sugary sweetness. Nice warmth and an easy drinking seasonal ale.

Sweet aroma, with hints of cherry. Pours a nearly opaque ruby red with a dusting of off-white head. Strong sweet flavor to begin with, with raspberries and cherries being the main notes, and just a hint of roast to attempt to balance them out, with it fading to a short, mild bitter finish. A bit thinner in body then I would expect for a Belgian strong, but not unpleasant. If you like your winter beers on the sweeter and fruitier side, you'll probably enjoy this more then me.
