Copenhagen 21/6 2021. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of a guy in a beach chair in a daze. A sandcastle in the background.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam overing the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit with a touch of fermented booziness. Light notes of citrus fruit. sweet peach, mango and papaya. A bit of strawberry milkshake peeking in. Light scent of lime and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Soft, sweetish and pleasant.

Very good beer has a nice 2 finger head with lacing and an almost sweet aroma. It pours a hazy translucent straw colored with a nice hop and fruit flavor. It has a mild malt flavor combined with all the other flavors of the hops make a really good Pale Ale. 35 IBUs Rated 5-1-2021

Pours a hazy gold with a medium dense persistent head. Smell is tropical fruit- pineapple. Taste is light malt and some juicy tropical hops. Peaches and pineapple. Nicely balanced and not overpowering. Drinkability is very high on this one. Light to medium bodied but that's the idea here. This is supposed to be a beach beer and it accomplishes that nicely.

19.2 fl oz can from Grocery Outlet. Hazy orange golden pour, thin foamy white head. Fruity aroma, balance of citrus and tropical fruit. Mild fruity, juicy taste, light zesty. Not too exciting, but extremely drinkable.

Poured from a 19.2oz can, canned on June 30th, 2022
On the pour a fine white 3 finger head formed with very nice structure and retention. A good contender for a slow pour appearance. The body is a hazy orangish-yellow with lots of fine carbonation. Not lacing really.
Aroma is beautifully tropical and fruity. Very refreshing and intensely juicy. A slight fermentation note gives away that this is beer but the hops rule here.
Taste is tropical right up front without coming off as too big or sweet because a bit of hop bitterness comes and balances things right out. As the hops fade a nice hit of pale biscuity malts shine through. This is why I like pale ales more than IPAs, you can actually taste the malt and it is nice and refreshing. There is a bit of a rindy herbal note that comes from some of the hops in the finish.
Feel is refreshing with a sort of light feel, while at the same time maintaining a full bodied mouthfeel. Theres almost a refreshing crispness to it as well, and the malts actually help this along quite well. Finish is pretty long but not overwhelming.
Overall this beer is exactly what it promised. Refreshing, hoppy, tropical, and not too bitter. Also there is actually a malt backbone, plus its super clean and smooth.
