Served on tap, in the usual glassware. Dark brown, with a slightly tan head (what there was of it).
The aroma was a smoky, double-decocted sweet thang. The flavor starts with a dark, raisny sweetness and then the smoke kicks in. It stays in a malty smoky balance until the estery, smoky, malty round finish. Hops? Yeah, right... The finish is alcoholic, with a bitter roasty smoky malty background.
Like smoked beers? Seek this bad boy out. Tastes like Rogue Smoke's brother who's been working out.
