Our good friend bought a big bottle of this to display on the wall of his garage. The bottle was kind of cool.
Perhaps white frogs taste like they have been soaked in lemon dish detergent, and that is why the Rogue Ale people called this White Frog Ale. The cloudy beer tasted overpoweringly tart. Were we in a blind taste test I would have guessed this was a Bartles & Jaymes or Zima.
I hope that the bottle does not fall from my friend's wall and shatter, or else he will have to buy another bottle and make us drink it.

Served in a glass.
A: Pours a cloudy golden-yellow in color. White head dissipates slowly leaving noticeable lacing. Carbonation visible.
S: Primarily wheat/yeast/oats, in other words, bread. The smell of the spices are present in a nice medley. Smells quite pleasant.
T: Thick on the wheat, oats and malt. The spices carry a nice undertone to compliment the main flavors. The sweet orange peel is a very nice touch! Brings a citrus note to the beer which tastes great alongside the wheat. The chamomile also seems to give a bit of a floral taste, if that's possible. Virtually no bitterness. The spices finish last here. All the flavors blend well to make a smooth beer. No unpleasant aftertaste left.
M: Smooth with carbonation. Seems to me to be medium-bodied, if not in between medium-bodied and light-bodied. It's satisfying enough.
O: I wasn't sure what to make of this when I saw it but the ingredient list left me hopeful and intrigued. It certainly paid off. This is a great beer. I've had more than a few witbiers and this is by far the best I've had. Reminds me a bit of a hefeweizen but more complex, especially with all the spices.
I'm especially pleased with this beer and I think you will be too. Definitely give this a try if you see it.

Appears hazy yellow with a medium sized white head.
It smells of citrus, coriander and a bit like spicy fruity yeast.
It tastes initially a tad bit acidic. There is a bit of a mild citrus (orange) flavor and a bit of a spiced tea type of a flavor. The spices they use are quite strong. In particular I get a potent ginger, coriander and chamomile taste. I also get a bit of an oat type of a taste. There is a mild bit of a Belgian yeast flavor.
The beer is medium bodied and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
Overall an interesting Wit that has a few untraditional ingredients in it. This is a very easy to drink beer. Worth trying if you see it around.

Pours a clear golden color with a 2 finger white head. Retention is okay, but no lacing. Smell is slightly of orange and coriander. Taste has an orange flavor, with some light malt as well. Mouthfeel is medium with little carbonation. Overall, interesting, but not exceptionally impressive.

On draft at the Rogue Ale House, Portland, Oregon.
Poured a hazy dark straw hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured a light ester, light wheat malt and subtle coriander spice.
The taste was a bit lacking in spice and esters and featured subtle malts.
The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style.
Overall really under powered in taste and aroma.

A gorgeous Belgian Witbier style brew. Great golden/straw color with a thick, full head. Aromas of coriander, orange peel, white flowers and hay. Flavors follow with orange peel and citrus notes prominent. Short finish, light, balanced. Goes down easy.
