Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours golden yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of fresh cereal grain and some fresh fruit. Tastes of bright cereal grain with nice fruit notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking with good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12oz can. Bottom stamp is 'CANNED 07/29/2024'.
Partly cloudy, pale gold colored body. Brief lasting white color head with a lasting light skim and thin ring. Thin rings of lacing.
Aroma of malt and floral hops.
Taste has a tanginess, with floral and herbal hops, and some yeast aspects. Honey sweetness.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean finish. Good carbonation.
Good bitterness that balances with sweetness. Malts and flavorful hops. Different for a true pilsner.

Look: Straw yellow and lightly cloudy with a silky white head that ends as a lid and leaves good lacing behind

Aroma: Straw, soda crackers, floral hop notes, pilsner malt, and a honey-like sweetness

Taste: Cracker-forward pilsner malt comes on to start it off and begins to develop depth as floral hops trickle in behind. Jasmine and honeysuckle are prominent and go back and forth with the malt until it closes out

Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish

Overall: I dig it. Of all the newly expanded Dead Guy line these folks have done, this one grabbed my attention the most and although I’ve had it before, I hadn’t reviewed it yet. A solid Pilsner that checks the boxes, is tasty, and quaffable, and readily available

ROGUE DEAD GUY PILSNER 7 abv
This brew pours a clear light golden color presenting a apple cider and plumb taste. This being a Pilsner gives this beer a fresher lighter taste with a light body. This would be a great beer for a summer picknick because its lighter than Rogues IPA’s.

Small taster at the grocery store pushing their 12 pack of different 4 beers. It poured a nice golden color with a small head with a slight hop flavor and clean cereal grains. Nice light beer with good flavor. Rated 4-9-2023 34 IBUs

Canned 3/27/24. I'd like to try a fresher specimen, but....that's what's out there. *shrug*

Lightly-hazy medium yellow, with 1/2 finger of white head, that leaves a 1/8" ring, and a few spots of lacing.

Smell is fresh cracker, with some light floral and spicy notes.

Taste is similar to aroma, with the spiciness a bit more apparent, and the grain a bit less so. Slight fruity flavor in the aftertaste, that makes it come across as a pils mixed with a blonde.

Feel is light, with moderate, very, very fine, semi-sharp carbonation tingle.

Overall, not bad, but a bit too light on flavor. Good enough though, that it'd be worth it to me to try it again, if a fresh example could be found.

Clear bright golden color with a respectable persistent white head and even some decent lacing. The aroma is fresh bread and floral hops.
The taste is also malt forward, slightly sweet fresh bread, crackers but with a very evident floral hops background. The finish is crisp, clean and slightly dry.
The body is light, good carbonation level, very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a very nice, well balanced Pilsner, tasty and refreshing, excellent for cooling off in warm weather, great with spicy food, very nice.
