Look: Golden yellow in the glass and my pour sets off a nice-looking head that settles to a lid and retains well
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Pineapple pulp and juice, oranges, tamarind, wafts of strawberries, and light bready notes
Taste: Whoa. Pineapple juice comes on strong up front and lightly mellows, though not by much, as waves of orange, tamarind, and strawberry pile on top. A little bread comes through in the middle but this is a full-on fruit bomb of a beer. Closes with a blend of pineapple, orange, and tamarind
Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and soft on the finish
Overall: This is a very interesting beer, but I can’t yet tell whether I’m into it or not. Fruit beers or fruited beers aren’t typically my cup of tea but this collab and combo of pineapple and tamarind sounded interesting, plus I was gifted a few to try by my Dad who was not into it. The fruit presence is dominant throughout so keep that in mind, but if pineapple or tamarind are your thing and/or are fruit beers, this one is solid and unique
