Among Oregon's tangled vines and brambles thrive the sweet marionberries and juicy plums that burst forth in our Berry Blonde Ale. This berry blonde ale presents a refreshing blend of marionberry and plum flavors, balanced by a light biscuity malt backbone and subtle floral hops. With a clean finish, if offers a delightful harmony of fruity sweetness and crisp drinkability.

Appearance This blonde had a light tint of red. Perhaps it was strawberry blonde.
Smell - The nose had notes of artificial fruit, like a fruit flavored diet soda.
Taste - This tasted like punishment. If Starburst were dissolved into a beer, this might be the result. It had a bitter, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel - Carbonation was normal for the style.
Overall - This was bad.

Very slightly hazy strawberry blonde color with a decent foamy white head. The aroma is berries, I thought raspberries, but apparently these are marionberries from northwest.
The taste is definitely berry forward with notes of plum and a good blonde ale base, lightly tart, very mild bitterness, nice balance.
The body is light/medium, good carbonation, smooth and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a tasty and enjoyable brew, berries are definitely forward but somewhat understated to still present as a blonde ale, should be a decent summer cooler and should go well with most lighter fare, well done.

A good looking blonde ale although a bit on the dirty blonde side of things. Very strong grape Kool-Aid nose that brought back some memories of childhood, I just hope they were memories of my childhood. With the staying power of the Kool-Aid in my mind tasting this beer was a little weird and I immediately had thoughts of a grape Kool-Aid / light beer mixture, some form of a Arnold Palmer drink that followed itself through finiishing each and every drink of this beer.

Aroma is huge berries/marionberries and mild sweetness. The flavor is big berries/marionberries, malts/grains/small hint of wood and a smooth/slightly sweet finish.

This is a nicely balanced blonde ale, not too fruity but with enough that you can definitely tell you're getting the berry flavor. I classified it as a blonde and not a fruit beer because the base is very much a blonde ale, and then you get the fruit on the back end. It's pretty low ABV as well, so I would think this will emerge as one of their go-to summer beers.
