On-tap at the brewery, next to the Rebel Hop version of the same.
Pours a hazy golden colour, with a fine white head. Lace is patchy, but pleasant enough. Body is solid but dull. Overall, yeah, it's ok. Pretty generic though.
Nose has some pleasant melon and apricot aromas, unfortunately tainted with brusque grain and a hint of yeast. It's certainly not huge in any case, but the hop fragrances that are there are nice enough.
Light grain on the entry of the palate, before some middling hops come through lending some mild organics. Finish is slightly earthy, tending to meaty. A bit dull and uninspired. Feel is sparkly and very light.
Overall, this is pretty bland stuff. I'm not going to offend Rogue by comparing it to Budweiser, but the fact that Bud is even mentioned in this review is a bad sign.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
