Guess my neighbor was feelin' fancy today. Never heard of this stuff but he served it up to me in some standard wal-part $5 a dozen glass.

Look- See through transparent gold with a frothy white head. Surprise surprise.

Smell - Very, very light and near scentless. Kind of like cooking asparagus and not spraying out the pan after a few days.

Taste - Run of the mill at its finest. Bit of corn, bit of asparagus, bit of all the usual suspects.

Feel - Sits watery amd bubbly.

Overall - Standard adjunct. No frills, nothing to see. Nothing offensive at least. Move along.

500ml can served in a pint glass.

A: Pours a light yellow golden color forming a medium to small head with low retention and only few lacings left in the glass

S: Artificial in the nose. Smells like a regular big production Adjunct Lager. Notes of sweet grains and some grassy hops. Bready yeasts

T: Sweet grains in the upfront. Slightly sweet taste. Crispy. Notes of corn. Light hops bitterness. Hops have a grassy profile

M: Light body. Strong carbonation. Sweet grains in the aftertaste

O: Poor standard Adjunct Lager

Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1B). Bottle 66cl - batch L204214. AROMA: faint corn like aroma. no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: very clear straw color. thin white head. TASTE: very low corn like sweetness that persists in the aftertaste. no hop flavours and no bitterness. PALATE: very low and watery body with very low carbonation. OVERALL: na extremely watered down pale lage, altough it says "pilsener" on the bottle.

A - Dark golden colour. Small, unremarkable head. Few carbonation bubbles floating around.

S - Bag full of malt and some crisp, bitey hops.

T - Very active in the mouth initially - carbonation is stronger than expected. Bubbles quickly subside and most of the flavour hiding underneath disappears as well. The flavour is like a wave of malty hops washing through your mouth with just a touch of sweetness.

M - At first quite vibrant but smoothing out as it coats your mouth with malt. Carbonation is solid but not overpowering.

O - Easy enough to drink with a sweet mild-pilsner taste.

This is the worst beer I have ever had.

There were particles floating throughout (and yes, I checked the date). This is unacceptable.

Gross gross gross. This was not drinkable. I poured this one down the drain. I am going to have something from Russian River to make this situation better.

Produced very little foam after being poured into my pils glass. Completely straw yellow and clear-very little carbonation(might not be the beer's fault-not sure of the age of the bottle). Floral aroma with a slight metallic taste. Seemed kinda bland but I probably wouldn't mind drinking a few of these chilled on a hot day.

I have to thank Stosh for this bottle of beer.He always looks out for me when he has imports.Yards pint glass.

Very clear yellow body.Nice thick white head that is stitting there.I poured the beer agressive. Its incredible how clear this water ehh beer is.Small amount of lacing.

Mild hop notes and adjunct notes, pretty much the same for ever AML.

Highly carbonated,corn,sweetness.Pretty clean aftertaste.

Mouthful is highly carbonated and easy drinking. But dont they all taste the same???? Suited to the mainstream

Why cant a big brewery make a AML that actually taste alright? I mean the way they were before prohibition. Its a shame cause when I can go for a lager, sometimes a macro. These beers just dont do.

I had this bottle at Market Cross Pub and Brewery in Carlisle. The 12oz brown bottle state it is made in Rio De Jenero. I poured this cold brew into a nonic and allowed it to warm slightly.
A - The lightest lager I have ever poured myself, possibly. The color of white tead w/ a 1/2 inch of white dishsoap foam that collapses on itself.

S - After sniffing it until it warmed it produced no real aroma other than a light lager yeast scent. Not worth mentioning really.

M - Alka seltzer fizzy, dry and medicinal, just sucks the moisture out and cleanses the palate. Not much of a mouthfeel really. Good for grassiness, but .5 in my opinion if I really critiqued it.

T - A sad state of beer affairs - just not a real flavor of beer at all. The taste is missing, absent, a truly seltzer water effect. I just can't find anything here, even the benefit of the doubt.

D - Not worth a second thought. I would pour it out if I hadn't paid for it. I won't make the same mistake again.

This beer should be classified as an American Macro Lager. First of all it contains a good part of adjunct cereal grains as can be confirmed not only by the ingredients in the label but also by its taste. Cintra is not even close to the bitterness of a German Pilsener, and the hop flavor is almost non-existent. Although not a bad beer it is definitely not a German Pilsener.

Cintra has a light golden color, substantial, white frothy head that can be persistent. Very clear.
The nose is quite agreeable and it tastes slightly bitter.
Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, low-strength and light body. Bitter and persistent aftertaste.

Overall: a brisk and refreshing adjunct lager. Its head positively impressed me. In short, a nice pale lager for a hot day.
