This pours a very hazy golden colour with a large, shortlasted white head. Good lacing.

Very mild, fruity, grain aroma with a hint of clove.

Nice, tart wheat character with a moderate banana and spice character.

Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation.

A tasty, light answer easy drinking wheat. Thumbs up.

Nice pale banana colour, I'm not sure if I'd call it amber or a dunkelweizen because it's quite pale. Nice cloudy appearance, light head, and light carbonation. Decent.

Smoky bacon nose, maybe a hint of some fruity glaze on that smoky bacon, but quite spicy and pretty intense, very nice though, yeah.

Could have been served warmer, this is definitely VB temperature. Nose still kind of permeates on the flavour, but palate is kind of airy, it tastes quite light. There is a fair amount of bitterness mixed with a pleasant light fruit flavour, banana and peach maybe? A little bit of bitter smokiness, fairly well balanced. Not bad for a weizen.

Drank a $4.20 half-pint of this at the Wig & Pen.
Pours a hazy, light honey.
Aromas of wheat malt, with a slightly sour note.
Flavours of banana & clove.
Medium mouthfeel, slight tart/tingle touch as well.
Easy to drink & refreshing. Good summer afternoon beer.

Cloudy yellow tending to orange. Good creamy thick head. Minimal carbonation. Good looking hefe weizen.

Quite a subdued nose. Not as fragrant as some. A little fruity and surprisingly buttery. Nice sweet yeastiness to it. Actually, it's much better than I originally thought.

Good sweet fruity hefeweizen front palate, but lacks a little of the body of a true hefe weizen. It flattens out far too early, leaving a hole where the residuals should be. The mouthfeel is also very much too sparkling and tangy. The carbonation overpowers.

It's enjoyable, really, and a decent hefeweizen. I've seen much better stylistic examples though.

(This is a true hefeweizen, not a dunkel, as it says here.)

A bit odd, some estery yeasty bananas at the start. Tart start, and very grainy, i had written crackers and whole grain bread. Some cosmetic type flavour, like lipstick or something is also in there. A bit odd, but not totally bad. At least its got a bit of flavour, which is a positive.
