Pours a hazy straw colour with a good creamy, white head. Retention could be a bit better. Okay lacing.

Slightly tart aroma. Some lactic. A hint of brett comes through in the form of some barnyard aroma. It is a bit straightforward and while acceptable some additional complexity would be nice.

This is initially quite tart. A good splash of sweetness comes through in the midpalate balancing out the tartness. Some bitterness is evident in the dry finish. Hints of lemon and lime comes through along with a light mineral character. Very nice.

A silky soft, medium body with moderately high carbonation. Very nice. Some tannic astringency is evident thanks to the time of oak.

A nice beer which goes down well. A great summer beer even if the well hidden alcohol is a killer.
