Hazy, pale gold colour with a small and short lasted white head. The head is nice a creamy but retention could be seriously improved.
Mild citrus and spice from the yeast. A little sweet. Stonefruit. Interesting aromas and fairly appropriate to style.
Smooth, soft malt. Mild clove spice. A touch of pear and orange. Creamy.
Medium-light body. High carbonation. Appropriate but a little too spritzy.
A decent Belgian Golden Strong Ale but for me it lacks a bit of depth and complexity. This is the commercial adaptation of the ACT Amateur Brewing Championships Beer of Show and it has fallen a little bit from the lofty heights that the original beer achieved.
