An English Ale brewed with Brett

Clear amber colour with a creamy white head. Poor head retention. Okay.

Lightly malty and slightly fruity. Not all that interesting but it hits the balance between malt, yeast and hops expected in an English Ale.

Slightly malty with some caramel notes and touches of grain. Bits of hard fruit and even a little tartness. Nothing over the top and not all that Brett-like but it works okay.

Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Fine.

As an English Ale this is not bad at all. I do find the Brett underdone and it fails to add a particularly unique character to the beer. Not bad but the potential hasn't been tapped here.
