Founder's is located in the heritage park in Nelson which while nice is not a good thing as you have to pay just to get into the bar. I was lucky and the staff at the entrance let me in for free (as I'm a student) but it was nonetheless offputting.
The bar itself is nice enough and the deck outside was nice on the sunny day I visited.
The service was decent but rushed. I felt like they thought of themselves sort of like a tourist venture than a true brewery.
The selection is decent though the beers are not the most amazing I've ever had.
