Pours black with a one finger brown head.
smells delicious with strong fruity raisin and date along with a roasted coffee and chocolate hints.
Tastes like it smells fruity at first but a lingering bitter coffee finish.
A little watery for what looks like a heavy malty stout.

Pitch black. Inky. Massive tan head. Fantastic head retention. Amazing.
Sweet, chocolatey, malty, hoppy. Quite citrussy.
Yum. Big sweet malt profile that dries out quickly with a hefty hop punch. Fruity NZ varieties. Solid combination of hop and roast bitterness. Nice.
Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. Good.
A really solid beer. Tons of malt and hop. Surprisingly balanced though pushing limits. Great beer.
