Light haze in a rich copper body. Thick, creamy cask head of off-white that lasts forever. Rich toffee and sugar fruit malts underpin a bodacious hop nose. Minty, resinous, herbal and bitter. Do you think it was dry-hopped? Yep. Solid toffee malt base, with a sweet edge. Hops come on strong and numb the tongue. Very fresh, like eating hop flower cones. Kind of minty, floral, herbal and bitter. Not quite as resinous or potent as say Alpha King, but very hoppy for a beer brewed in NZ. Medium-full bodied. Creamy, smooth, with subtle cask-conditioned carbonation. I want to drink this all night long.
