A: Deep brown-black with ruby highlights, off-white foamy head, great retention & lace.
S: Dark, grainy bread; brown sugar; hint of coffee.
T: Dark bread, grainy astringency, light coffee, hint of fruity esters, balanced bitterness.
M; Very smooth, almost creamy; lower than moderate carbonation, slight chalky astringency.
D: It wasn't aweful, but I didn't finish the sample.
