Pours a hazy, deep golden amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of bright tropical/citrus hops: mango, guava, pineapple, orange, tangerine, with just a hint of herbal grassiness. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by bright tropical/citrus hops: mango, guava, pineapple, orange, tangerine, with some light grainy malt, herbal grassiness and pine coming through as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some slightly acidic, zesty citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a pretty nice IPA, but not a great NEIPA, to be honest. Not quite juicy enough and also lacking that soft, pillowy mouthfeel associated wit the style. Still quite enjoyable for what it is though.
