Appearance: Deep brown colored brew with a frothy tan colored head.
Smell: Smoky malt with a hint of licorice. Mild hop presence.
Taste: Semi-sweet yet smoky malt flavor dominates. Nice bitterness in the finish. Mineral aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body. Very crisp for a dark lager.
Drinkablity: Very tasty brew. The flavor provides a challenge to the taste buds while still being simple enough to provide simple refreshment.
