Clear, pale, orange-tinted brew with plenty of foam in the Hakodate Trolley glass. Taste is light but malty with a spritzy mouthfeel. Aroma of grain with a hint of pear. Taste is malty and slightly sweet with a fruity flavor of apple and melon. Rather perfumey like a German Kölsch. Tangy finish but very little bitterness, just a touch of grape stems. Overall this is a delicious light brew that might be said to be "inspired" by the Kölsch style. From the 530 ml can purchased in Aomori, Japan.
