Our signature beer - a pale bitter with a citrus aroma and a hoppy citrus finish.

On cask at The Salisbury in Manchester.

Pours a clear amber with soft head.

Smell is crisp, bready and floral with notes of knäckebröd, citrus and rye.

Taste is crisp and bready with a moderate bitterness. Notes of knäckebröd, citrus, rye and toffee.

Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific bitter, could drink this all day.

Feb. 2003: (Cask conditioned). Sampled at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival, where it was served at room temperature. Low natural carbonation. Looks like a pale ale. Good aroma, quite fruity flavour. Would probably taste a lot better if served cooler.
