On cask at NERAX. Pale yellowish gold with a decent lace. Obvious higher levels of mineral and sulphur in the brewing water come out in the aroma and flavour. Malt is a touch thin but at a good level for the style, it gets lost though amongst the yeasty by-products that flare out with big doughy, fruity and faintly buttery flavours. Good hopping from a New Zealand variety. Certainly one of the more interesting brews at NERAX.
