This review is of three hand pulled pints taken in one of the worst Wetherspoons pubs I’ve ever been too. Luckily the beer quality was OK, even if the bar and clientele were a little on the rough side.
Dull Irish red beer in the colour stakes; the body being clear but not bright. A good white head of foaming bubbles sat above the beer on every pour.
The smells were mostly of biscuit malts with some yeast presence also.
The taste was of over cooked biscuits and roasted nuts, almost sweet initially, but a mild hop bitterness arrives to calm everything down and give the beer a well balanced feel.
Not exactly full bodied, but it did carry the flavours without feeling watery or weak in the mouth feel: easy to drink and one of the better beers I’ve had from this brewery.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
