A 500ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2017. Bought recently from B&M. A belated Christmas beer - the label describes it as a winter amber ale. Still wondering how they came up with the name 'Reigndeer' - what?
A: Poured into a tulip pint glass. A clear amber hue with good carbonation. Forms a small head that dissipates almost immediately. Unimpressive.
S: Aroma of caramel malt, diacetyl, mild ale yeast and vague stewed hops. Not very inspiring.
T: Tastes of watery caramel malt, ale yeast and subtle stewed hops. A restrained bitterness upon swallowing. Lacklustre.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with mild astringency. Aftertaste of stewed hops that verges on harsh, and faint malt.
O: Spectacularly sub-par, and not very seasonal to boot. The appearance, aroma and flavour are all insipid and unimpressive. Could probably also do with longer conditioning. Weak effort - give it a miss (and don't gift it for Chrimbo either).

Amber in colour. Frothy head.
Spiced hop aroma. Metallic.
A fruity and sweet bitterness. Caramel malt. Lightly spiced.
Well carbonated and quite thin.
Just about OK.

Bottled
Mid Brown bodied with huge foaming off white head
Not the greatest aroma, toffee (yay!) and stomach acid (nah)
tastes like crap bitter with tiny bit of Christmas spice
thinner than Kate Moss after 3 months of the trots
I suspect this will spoil some Christmasses
