Winterthur Wheat is our version of an American West Coast Wheat beer. This thirst quenching ale is smartly hopped and has a uniquely crisp and sparkling taste. We blend two-row barley malt and wheat malt with whole flower Cascade hops to create this refreshing wheat beer with a distinctive flavor. Once they taste it, even people who say they don’t like wheat beers are instant fans. This is a great beer for warm summer afternoons and evenings.

Had on tap at the Pickled Pig. Review from notes.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. Decent retention with moderate lacing.

S: Some wheat with plenty of lemon and lemon rind. Faint spice and a little bit if citrus hops.

T: More lemon, a little bit of biscuity malt, wheat, and some faint spice.

M: Easy drinking, light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O: A solid beer, easy drinking. Not blowing me away, but would drink it again for sure.

a: This was a lightly cloudy, bright golden color. It was served to me with a small, wisp of a head.

s: Mild overall with light, citric hops and a bit of a wheaty twang.

t: A hint of sweet fruit before a moderately bitter, leafy finish.

m: Light bodied with an overall crisp feeling.

o: I saw this was a wheat beer and I was hoping for a hefe. Oh well, this wasn't bad on a hot day.
