The beer pours a nice brown color with a 1/4" offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a thin, yet malty scent that boasts of crystal and roasted malts. The taste is decent. It has an easy drinking "brown ale" taste that boasts of crystal and roasted malts. It goes down easy with a moderate sweetness and finishes thin with a slightly roasted finish. There is a mild hop bitterness in there as well. It's really apparent in the finish. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a pretty good brown ale. It's a bit thinner than I like, but it's a good drinker.

T: Really nice brown ale. Good balance of malt and hops. Definately a British example of the style.
M: Good mouthfeel and carbonation especially for cask.
D: Nice brown ale. Really nice. Everything these guys produces is drinkable. Really nice on cask.
