This premium hoppy ale is a vivaciously fruity and appetising version of the classic India Pale Ale. Originally brewed to survive the rigours of a long sea voyage from Britain to India during the Raj. Farsons IPA blends just the right amount of bitterness with a solid malt base resulting in a clear amber colour and a well formed and dense off-white head. This modern IPA has a complex, creamy, and refined taste profile – another Farsons Classic in the making.

Pint from The Red Lion, St. Paul's Bay, Malta (€4.90):
Medium amber with a 1cm, bubbly settling about a quarter of that size. Earthy malts, biscuit & hints of sweetness with background fruity hops on the nose. The taste is more fruity & hoppy, medium bodied & tangy, the earthy hops & biscuit dominate the taste with a fruity finish.

Keg. Light amber with a scum like head.
Hoppy smell. Mixed fruit and straw.
Strong bitter hit upon tasting, otherwise the taste is similar to the aroma.
Well carbonated with a medium body.
In Malta for a few days.
