Presentation Draft, served in a pilsner glass.
Appearance: The very loose, half finger head goes away pretty quickly and leaves behind a tiny amount of lacing. It's a very dark brown, almost black color.
Smell: The main scent is of sweet white chocolate with some faint coffee on the background.
Taste: The sweet, white chocolate taste dominates, just like on the nose. There's also some light coffee and roasted malt on the aftertaste and that's pretty much it.
Mouthfeel: It's pretty light, a bit watery even. Despite the huge sweetness it's not cloying at all which is surprising. It's light to medium bodied with medium high carbonation.
Overall: It's a bit too soft and thin for a porter but the title ingredient is definitely present in the scent and taste as advertised. It's a polarizing beer and whether you like it or not will come down to how you feel about white chocolate. Those who like it will enjoy this beer a lot, those who don't, won't enjoy it as much.
