Sampled on tap at The Covey on January 23, 2010. The beer pours brown with an off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt with some chocolate and toffee. The flavor is more of the same with the roasted malts and some bitterness coming through. The brown malts are really highlighted making this a very good beer. It is a nice beer that is somewhat between an English Brown Ale and an English Porter.
(The Covey describes the beer as an English Porter so that is what I listed it as here.)
