This is a bigger, stronger version of the Horned Frog Pale Ale.
The beer pours a hazy orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is toffee malt with some various hop flavors. I get some pine, earthiness and grassy hops. The flavor is toffee and caramel malt with some earthy, piney and orange citrus hops. The bitterness from the hops mix very well with the sweetness from the malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
A pretty good American Pale Ale, that remains balanced despite having more than 7 percent ABV.
