On the Real Ale tap, I got the last glass of the first batch. Seemed to be almost a rust reddish color, nice head of good sized bubbles, with little retention. I'm wondering if the head might have been the result of it being the end of the keg, and the fact that it was the real ale, hand-pumped tap.
Strong floral hops smell, with a bit of an earthy aroma in there. The strong floral hops showed up in the taste, as well, with the alcohol hidden in there pretty well. Pretty smooth, almost a tiny bit creamy, too, with the hop bitterness coming at the end.
A very good brew. I like it a lot better than their regular IPA, and I hope to see it back again. I think I could handle a couple glasses of it before needing a switch to a different brew.
