Found in a Moscow supermarket, the full liter brown bottle sports a bulge in the neck, a swing top, and a parchment colored label featuring what I assume is the brewery etched above the name. Label info is in Lithuanian, English and Russian. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 3/17/06, I opened it on 3/4/06.
Pours a cloudy orangish copper hue under a big and fluffy three finger white head that settles slowly and leaves very nice lace. The nose is sweet and fruity, tangy with lemon and a hint of spice. The mouth is light and very well carbonated. The taste starts and remains lemony, with a bit of coriander in the background. Not much in the way of malt or hops, although a slight spicy bitterness does hide in the finish. The tartness may be a touch excessive, but this is a nice, well-done brew.
