Good Yellow color. Nice enought head.

Nothing technically wrong with the taste, but there is a strong lemony taste at the end of each sip. Lemony Pledge. But it seems like authentic hefe-really strong. Almost reminds me of fake lemon flavors. Not sure what's going on but it misses the mark, at least for me.

Couldn't finish this, but I didn't think it was bad. That's right. Lemon Pledge doesn't spur me on to further drinking. Could be your thing. Worth a try.

First and foremost, at note to the Tun Tavern: axe the chilled pint glasses and the lemon wedges on the glass of the Summer Weisse...please.

That said, those items aside this is a nice summertime brew. It purs a cloudy golden yellow colour with a minimal head but did have some nice resiude on the glass as the liquid drained.

The smell is fruity and spicy with a nice combination of grapefruit, lemon and banana (perhaps) and a touch of bubble gum as well.

The flavour is more of the same, and is a bit tart but sweet and dry (at the finish) at the same time. The mouthfeel is good though maybe an ever so slight touch thin.

This one is simply tasty and thirst quenching overall. It's a nice example of a American stab at a hefeweizen.

A cloudy, golden-orange body rests beneath a decent-sized head of off-white foam. Through the haze you can detect hundreds of very-fine bubbles rising steadily towards the surface and adding to the head. It holds well, but is nowhere near as voracious and clinging as the best from Germany. It drops shortly to a thin 1/4" surface covering and leaves some nice transient lace. Unfortunately, only minor spotty lace actually sticks throughout the glass. The nose delivers a well-balanced combination of lightly sweet and wheatish malt, gentle clove-like spice, mild banana, ripe fruit, and soft-edged phenolics. It's mildy crisp and gently tingly across the tongue, but becomes creamier as it warms in the mouth. The body is light as is appropriate for the style, yet it seems slightly fuller (which is one of the marks of a well-done weizen) due to it's carbonation. In the flavor, yeasty phenolic esters dominate over a softly sweet wheat-based malt with notes of banana, gentle fruit (berries, cherry), and some "band-aid". An exceptionally crisp and refreshing wheat beer that follows more in the footsteps of Spaten than Paulaner. Nicely done and well worth trying!
