Nice head. Not pure gold. Some amber thrown in.
Smell is of hops.
Hops with some malty notes. Much promise but too muted. Hops seem to be a bit different than most pilseners, which can be a good change of pace.
Too heavy for a Pils, at least for my tastes. Not enough flavor to counter-balance the heaviness.

better than alot of other pilseners that i have tried, but still missing something. pours a darker than expected copper colour with a mild head that leaves a surprising sticky chunkiness on the glass. smells of hop and malt with floral hints and some sweet notes throughout. tastes pretty much the same but having the touch of sweetness and the extra malt kick as opposed to the euro-stank that usually invades this style was quite nice. still, this style leaves something to be desired overall. could i drink this one again? yup? would i? yup, but it'd still be toward the bottom of the list of tun tavern selections for me.
