Very deep chestnut color. Slight head that quickly receedes. Malty aroma-some slight phenolics. Very yeasty. Big spicy flavor-alcohol is very well hidden. Malty with a slight hop bitterness in the finish. Very good body-all seems well balanced. Quite the enjoyable beer-best of their offerings I had in a session to be sure.
