Poured from fresh crowler into tulip glass. It pours ink black with mahogany hues, and a thin, light mocha-colored head that dissipated rapidly leaving minimal lacing. Subdued nose featuring roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, char, and a whiff of caramel. I didn't like the taste at all. Much too much bitter char, which overwhelmed the other flavors (if there ever were any). There was a lot of carbonation for a stout. It's very thin. Overall, I'm hoping this is better when served on draught.
