Served in a pint glass (not my choice) here at Tun Tavern in Atlantic City.

Appearance: Cloudy gold with heavy bubbles on the body. Thin white head maybe a 1/4" off the body.

Smell: Nice smooth heavy banana, honestly from the smell alone it feels like it was brewed in Germany itself.

Taste: Nice deep complexity to it. Deep heavy banana with a touch of spice, maybe hints of nutmeg. Just right!

Mouth: Light sweetness to it at the end, goes well if you want to have dessert.

Overall: This is a quality brew, another one that surprised me here at Tun Tavern. Finished this gem right after dinner and hit the spot just right. Salud!

Pours a cloudy light yellow colour with a frothy head that leaves blotchy amounts of residue on the glass.

The aroma consists of lemon notes, some wheat and grass, a slight spiciness and a general citrus vibe. It's what was expected, but solid nonetheless.

The flavour is basically more of the same: citrus flavours throughout with hints of spice, although clove is a bit more noticeable here, and there's certainly a solid wheat and grass blend in each sip as well. A bit more subtle than the aroma but still good. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp and refreshing.

This is a good, but not great, summer brew. It's a no frills but flavourful hefeweizen that doesn't really stray too far from the style. Worth a try.

Pours clouded golden with a large foamy white head that descends to a lasting thin cover. Not much lacing sticks.

The smell is of candied banana, lemon, a slight hint of clove.

The taste is sweet banana, a touch of tart/sour lemon, and a hint of clove that is almost missed.

It's a bit thin with quite a bit of carbonation, but has a refreshing crispness to it.

A bit too sweet and lemony, very light on hops, even for style and the clove is barely noticeable. But it has a refreshing summery quality to it.
