First had: on gravity cask at the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild 15th Annual Beer Festival, USS New Jersey, Camden, NJ
A pretty tasty brew. Poured a murky copper color with a very thin layer of off-white head. Sweet malts and bourbon in the nose. Biscuity malt taste, caramel and toffee, boozy, but sweet...if I had to guess, I'd say maybe 8%ABV? The bourbon was definitely in there, but it didn't seem very strong. My only real issue: it still had the general watered-down texture that I've experienced with all beers I've had from the Tun Tavern. Otherwise, it was medium-bodied, a bit chewy, a little more bark than bite, and thus quite drinkable.
