This is a VERY unusual "pale" barley wine. Color is golden, into amber. Taste is different from any barley wine you've had, more along the lines of a strong Belgian golden ale. Semi-sweet honey finish. Definitely worth a try if you can find it!

a: Hazy golden color, served with a small white cap.

s: Lots of toffe and a fair amount of honey sweetness. Tea like in a way, with some assertive, piney hops and a fair amount of well incorporated heat.

t: Sweet up front with lots of toffee and to a lesser extent honey. A piney tingle and a warm exhale to close.

m: Fairly hefty with gentle carbonation.

p: Nice barleywine I thought, plenty of honey and well masked alcohol.
