On tap at the brewery poured into a snifter
Dark brown liquid with brown one finger foam cap , quickly settles to a layer of bubbles
Aroma of dark chocolate , roast malts
Taste of dark fruits , figs , raisins , chocolates
Smooth but I can detect the alcohol
Good beer

I tried this on tap at ABC's Harrisburg Brewpub served chilled in a snifter.
The color is black as pitch with no light getting through and thick creamy tan head with rocky appearance lace sticks well. The smell is a black chocolate and peppery aroma of hops with toasted grain and light fig, raisin in the peripheral with a light currant and piney hop combination. The feel is warm, rustic and bitter with roast and full body without being syrupy with low alcohol in the back yet grain astringency and mild sweetness with a hoppy earthen texture with long bitter finish.
The taste starts smooth with a dark roast coffee and cocoa with immediate hop presence and bitter citrus from the hops in the taste with a dark chocolate and slight woody taste with mild bready toasted malt and berry/dried fruit in the finish with slightly warming alcohol and residual hop bitterness with a semi-dry finish. Overall this is a bruiser -I would recommend trying this first but I like the intensity and think it is a good candidate for aging. It is more of a west coast style Imperial Stout with lots of hop flavor/bitterness
