Part of the new Double IPA Single Hop Series.
Bright gold color, thin cap of bubbles leaving some sticky lacing. Scent is floral and fruity with splashes of orange and grapefruit. Malt is pale and doesn't really come into play in the other beers of the series, but brings a faintly present biscuity note to the beer here. Taste showcases the popular cascade hop which gives the beer a pleasant, not very bitter, floral and citrus profile. Notes of grapefruit and orange creme are quite pleasant, the pale malts provide a kiss of sweetness detected with the lower bitterness. Medium to lighter side of medium, dry and clean finish. The more mildly flavored of the three in the series but maybe the most drinkable. A fun experience all around to sample individual hops.
