Golden yellow color with adequate foam in the Coronado Brewing snifter. Fruit and honey in the nose. Serious Belgian character but not so yeasty and scratchy as some. The dried pear esters dominate the flavor. Clean and rich, and hot with alcohol. The 2018 version is 10%. Very sippable and pleasing. From the 16 oz can purchased in a six pack at the Ocean Beach restaurant. Brewed and canned at the Carlsbad brewery.
