Pint from PP San Clemente
Pour was a medium brown with a light tan head about an inch thick that was sliky and disappeared fast
Smell did not have much but some sweet malt
Taste was full of caramel and roasted flavor, but not that great
Could drink many of these, super heavy brew

Sampled @ Strong Ale Fest San Diego
The beer poured a transparent deep brown color with a modest tan head that was frothy on texture with a relatively decent sheet of lace to conceal the glass. Malt dominated nose, sweet and fresh, hints of caramel, almost fruity in some respects, start was sweet with a nice malt profile, the top a tad thin. Finish had a nice amount of carbonation and the hops forthright in their bite, sweet and dry aftertaste, I must admit to being a bit disappointed in this beer.
