This beer was served at Pizza Port in San Clemente on 10/2/04. It was marked as "new" on the board. It pours a rich golden yellow. THe aroma is a bit disappointing since there really is nothing distinct to smell. The flavor is unblanaced and weird in a very bad way. It is big in alcohol flavor with a slight yeasty flavor challenging for attention. It is slightly sopay and ends with an interesting yet convuluted maltiness. Not a great beer but if the recipe was worked out better it could indeed be a star.
