On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Advertised as 100% Simcoe.
This beer is pale golden, slightly hazy. The fluffy white head shrinks to nice wisps atop the brew. Terrific lace on the pint glass. Aroma is slightly lemony, slightly floral. Not nearly strong enough. On the tongue the hops drop a nice strong bitterness with a good deal of pine and citrus hop flavor. Grainy malt streams in and the finish is slightly dry. Alcohol subtle. Definitely a winner.
Overall: another yummy IPA from the folks at PP. Aroma could have been better though.
