The speakers are definitely blown out on this one. Expecting the bitterness to grab my tongue with hot pliers, but it's not terminally bitter. The hop flavors are just massive. Moderately sweet, big malt body. Mango, sweet peach, and pine.
"A monstrous thing, but it dances." On tap at Pizza Port in Ocean Beach. [from notes 7 Feb 2017]

Had this at the 17th annual Bistro DIPA fest last week. Poured a copper and caramel color, small 1/5" white head. Aroma of hops, shocking I know. An interesting mixture, as Nelson is a pretty aromatic arm pitty hop. It also has Centennial and Waimea.
Taste, wow, they went heavier with the cara malt than I thought they would. The hops really don't come through. Seems like they went Nelson in the dry hop, but the Centennial & Waimea just doesn't cut it in 2017 for the remainder of the hop bill.
