Poured on tap at Pizza Port San Clemente.
Look: Light golden. Mostly clear.
Smell: I've never had an IPA before that smelled like a lager. That's about all I can say.
Taste: Refreshing and sweet. Dry and slightly hoppy. But again, was this an IPA? Confused.
Feel: Crisp. Little to no aftertaste. All the dryness you'd expect from an IPA without the bitterness.
Overall: Mixed emotions. Was expecting an IPA, and basically got what tasted like a strong, sweetish lager. Liked it! Tasted great. But thrown off.
