Late May 2006- Via the tap into samplers at Pizza Port in Solana Beach, CA.
Presentation- Via the tap into two sets of samplers.
Appearance- Golden, maybe a bit on the darker side. Creamy 1/4 inch head with light streaks of lace.
Smell- Very small scent. Some kind of fruit rind and maybe a wee bit of spices.
Taste- Almost exact to the scent. Tiny bit of hop bitterness as well. Fairly dry.
Mouthfeel- Dry indeed, not much in the aftertaste. Spritzy carbonation.
Drinkability- Haven't really dove into this style as much, so I'm still holding out judgment. May try again if I ever see it in Northern Cali.
