Had this at the inaugural hazy ipa festival at the Bistro on April 14, 2018, commensurate with their 21st ipa festival.
Pours something in the middle of a yellow-y orange-ish broth color with 1/4" white head on the top. Hoped for a bigger hop aroma than I received. Smells of some old school C hop grapefruit like qualities.
Taste also delivers on the grapefruit, alcohol moderate although the beer remains crushable. This might be Cascade and Simcoe for bittering. Doesn't have the lower ibu thing going for it, not a lot in the way of juiciness and fruit flavors from the hops. One thing I noticed was that a lot of the powerhouse ipa breweries just didn't have it in the hazy department. Merely good instead of totally righteous. I'd certainly venture another pour of this, especially at Pizza Port as opposed to at this festival, they usually run 15psi on their taps, might be a better mouthfeel, but this beer has potential.
